201 Conference Room, LeConte Hall

A special opportunity for history students! Meet our guest speaker, Dr. Alex-Thái Đình Võ of the Vietnam Center and Archive at Texas Tech University.

By reconstructing forgotten lives and tracing the missing, this project re-imagines the archive as a site of reconciliation.

We'll have coffee, bagels and pastries for attendees.

The afternoon lecture later in the day invites scholars, students, and the public to reflect on the unfinished human reckoning of the Vietnam War—and why accounting for the dead still matters today. The afternoon history lecture and pizza lunch will be in room 137 of the Tate Center.

Sponsored by the Department of History, Department of International Affairs, and the Center for Asian Studies.
