Movie Myth Bustin': U.S. and Memory of WWI

Looking for a way to decompress after the last day of classes and before exams - come hang out, eat pizza, and talk about the first World War!



Epsilon Pi, UGA's chapter of Phi Alpha Theta, Inc., is hosting a lecture and screening of the WWI film, The Lost Battalion'. History doctoral student Alex Nordlund will discuss the US and its memory of WWI. Nordlund will look at America's entry and participationn in the conflict and the war's impact on the postwar US. He will consider the wider history of American in the 20th century, the questions of why WWI is largely forgetten in US memory and how the conflict might enrich our understanding of American history.



What better way to end the semester than with some history? Plus, as always, there will be pizza! You won't want to miss out!
