Study Away Course Credit If you are attending a Non-UGA Program or UGA Exchange Program, the Transfer Credit Approval Form (TCAF) serves as your pre-approval for transfer credit brought in from your education abroad experience. Upon completion of this form, Global Education will notify the Registrar, Financial Aid and Student Accounts of your approved Global Education program details. This form maintains your active enrollment for the time you will be abroad. It is your responsibility to notify Global Education of any changes to your course work while abroad and be familiar with the residency requirements for your degree. History Study Abroad Scholarship Information Experiential Learning Requirement To succeed, students in the 21st century must be able to tackle real-world problems and use critical thinking and problem solving skills to solve multifaceted problems that do not have simple solutions. Thus, the University of Georgia will require all undergraduate students to engage in hands-on, experiential learning within a domestic or global setting as a graduation requirement. All history majors automatically satisfy this requirement with the HIST 4990 Senior Seminar, but there are a variety of other courses that can also be used to fulfill this requirement, such as internship classes (HIST 4800), CURO research, Service learning courses, Study Away programs etc.
