Faculty and graduate students are invited to join us on Friday, March 20th at 3:30 PM to discuss the paper “Two Coffee Colonies: Environment, Slavery, and Anti-Slavery in Suriname and St. Domingue, 1730-1800” with its author, Rafael Marquese, Research Professor, Department of History, Universidade de Sao Paulo.
