A substantial number of graduate-level job opportunities are found within the federal government. These research, policy, and administrative fields provide a rich array of career opportunities for graduate students in nearly every discipline. However, many candidates find it challenging to navigate the federal job search process. This workshop will feature UGA alumna Sheila Porter, Deputy Branch Chief at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), who will comment on the graduate-level positions available within the federal government and the unique aspects of the federal job application process. Attendees will also learn about resources available at UGA for further exploration of federal government careers.

Registration is highly recommended for this event.

Registration Deadline: 2/27/2019 11:59:00 PM

Organizer: Andrew Crain
