Please join us for the inaugural lecture of the Transnational European History Seminar. Todd Shepard, Johns Hopkins University will speak on, "Affirmative Action and the End of Empires". Shepard is the Arthur O. Lovejoy Professor of History at Johns Hopkins University. He is the author of Voices of Decolonization: A Brief History with Documents and The Invention of Decolonization: The Algerian War and the Remaking of France.
