Friday, March 26 2021, 3:30pm Via Zoom Faculty and graduate students from any department are invited to join us to discuss the paper “Coal-Fired Capitalism: Railroaders, Miners and the Long Red Summer In Appalachian Kentucky” with its author, Matthew O'Neal, a doctoral student in history at the University of Georgia. The draft paper and Zoom link will be distributed to the Dirty History listserv two weeks in advance. Dirty History is an interdisciplinary workshop for scholars working at the intersection of agriculture, environment, and capitalism.
