Dr. Elizabeth Charles will be on campus, and Dr. Aaron Marrs will join us virtually to discuss the federal job search with graduate students in history.

Bring your questions, the aim of the meeting is to answer questions about the federal job search related to graduate students in history

Elizabeth C. Charles is a historian in the Office of the Historian at the U.S. Department of State. She is a UGA alum (B.A. history 1998) with a M.A. history from Boston College (2001) and a Ph.D. from George Washington University (2010).

Aaron Marrs earned his PhD at the University of South Carolina and for the past five years has been on the staff of the Office of the Historian at the U.S. Department of State. He is the author of Railroads in the Old South: Pursuing Progress in a Slave Society, published by Johns Hopkins University Press in 2009.
