All majors are welcome Fred Boyles spent 33 years in the National Park Service working in public history. After graduating from UGA and teaching public school for two years, he obtained a Masters degree in Resource Management from Clemson University. During his career in the Park Service he served as Superintendent of a National Battlefield, two National Historic Sites and a National Seashore. His responsibilities included historical themes covering the Revolutionary War, the home of the 39th President of the US, a Civil War POW camp and the home of a 19th Century wealthy industrialist.
