UGA at Oxford presents: Dr. Ian Archer, Keble College, Oxford University

In celebration of Dr. Ian Archer's 30 plus years of teaching for the UGA at Oxford Study Abroad Program, UGA at Oxford is excited to be hosting Ian the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of Homecoming week. Please join us for Dr. Archer's academic lecture on Friday afternoon. The title of the talk is Britain and the World, 1550-1700

Dr. Archer is the Robert Stonehouse Tutorial Fellow in History at Keble College, Oxford University. He is a historian of early modern London who has published widely on the social and cultural history of the capital in a period of crucial change.

He has contributed to several digital humanities projects and was the Academic Editor of the Bibliography of British and Irish History from 1999 to 2010. He is an Honorary Vice-President of the Royal Historical Society.
