Teaching Assistant

Coming from an extensive background in public history, Jamie's research interests lie in exploring the inner-culture of diplomacy and how it relates to the function of the United States during the Early National period. She examines how diplomacy is performed and how personal conduct intersects with the practicalities of statecraft, commerce, and international relations between the US and Imperial Russia during the Barbary Wars and War of 1812.

Jamie is proudly serving on the HGSA as First Year Experience Coordinator during the 2023-2024 academic year.
