This intensive 3-credit Maymester program introduces students to museum methods and practices using Atlanta’s museums as our classroom. Students attend a three-day workshop on campus before spending a week in Atlanta visiting museums and historic sites. Site visits include meetings with staff to discuss their work.

Students enroll in HIST 4024/6024 Topics in Museum Studies in Atlanta (3 credits). This course also counts as an elective for the Museum Studies Certificate program.
