Join us Monday for a special Black History Month documentary film screening of Buffalo Soldiers - Revision.

With an introduction and commentary by Dr. James Brooks (UGA History). Dr. Brooks will introduce the documentary film about the creation of the exhibit in the Fort Garland Museum.

Buffalo Soldiers - Revision is a film that follows eight well-known contemporary artists from around the U.S. as they create the dynamic and thought-provoking exhibition buffalo soldiers: reVision at History Colorado's Fort Garland Museum & Cultural Center. Led by artist Chip Thomas, the contributors to buffalo soldiers: reVision explore the complicated legacy of Buffalo Soldiers, the all-Black Army regiments established in 1866 following the Civil War.

Free and open to the public. All majors are welcome!

Lunch will be provided.

A Black History Month special presentation.
