The Open is a department workshop organized by the History Graduate Student Association and a committee of faculty members. The workshop series is a forum for History Department graduate students and faculty to present original historical research before an engaged and constructive audience of their colleagues, inside and outside their field and spanning all positions and ranks in the department.
