The history department, friends and family honored our graduating seniors in history and annual award recipients at a reception May 10 in the Zell Miller Learning Center.

Kaylee Jerman’s passion is to help others in any way she possibly can. She’s done that through her study abroad trips, volunteering with UGA Miracle and showing off the campus to visitors. She’ll continue to pursue that passion in the Peace Corps.

Congratulations to the many graduate students who received annual awards at our recognition ceremony April 22 at Demosthenian Hall. Graduating students were also recognized, including: Master's students Alec Kraynak, Jeffrey Jones, and Thomas Hendrickson, and Ph.D.

Scott Nelson, Georgia Athletic Association Professor in Humanities in the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences, has been awarded a prestigious John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation Fellowship.

Locos will be hosting a percentage night on Thursday, April 4, to raise funds for the Adam Cramond Martin Student Travel Award.
